The company today published the results of work on a modern ‘Pekabex System’ for residential buildings. Ready elements are to be used for fast, safe and economical construction of comfortable and architecturally interesting housing estates.
The largest prefab producer in Poland has made available catalogs dedicated to investors, developers and design offices interested in the implementation of buildings using prefabrication technology. “The Pekabex System – Residential Buildings is a response to the market’s search for an effective, yet guaranteeing quality, methods of building these facilities,” says Marta Sattlberger, deputy director of the Pekabex General Contracting Department. “We believe that we create solutions that will be the future of housing in the country.”
Pekabex, a Polish company operating since 1972, has been building large-scale housing estates in Scandinavia for many years. Created in 2017, the Pekabex Research and Development Center has contributed to the development of innovative products – including walls equipped with electrical installation, as well as ready facade and installed windows and window sills. Elements manufactured in factory conditions allow continuous quality control as well as year-round implementation at the construction site. The Ready System means not only a completely new opening in the construction industry, but also paying attention to the ecological aspect, including work on reducing the carbon footprint in construction.
In April 2020 “PFR Nieruchomości” (Polish Development Fund – Properties) announced the signing of a contract with Pekabex as a General Contractor in a government housing program for the construction of a prefabricated housing estate in Toruń. As representatives of Pekabex say, it is an impulse for further research and development and an opportunity for development companies to become more interested in the method of building in the System.
