The construction of new plant of Polish Mint is finished

The object is erected at the 2-ha plot at Annopol Street in Warsaw, in Białołęka district. The Polish Mint plans to relocate the production of coins to the new hall of area of 7,800 m².

The prime contractor for the new production plant is Pekabex Group. – On Monday, 18th of May, we have installed the last element of the prefabricated structure. We have manufactured, delivered to the construction site, and installed 203 elements in total, including columns and beams realized in traditional reinforcement technology (reinforced concrete), and beams and girders made as the prestressed elements. Other works go as planned and in some cases we are even a bit ahead of the schedule – said Przemysław Borek, President of Pekabex Bet, the company from Pekabex Group responsible for the project.
– The construction of the production hall for the Polish Mint is one of those projects where we used the unique skills of Pekabex Group in range of complex investment realization, so we are responsible not only for manufacturing and delivering the elements to the construction site, but also for the installation and works connected with the external infrastructure – said Przemysław Borek.
The finishing of all works realized by Pekabex Group for that project is planned for October 2015.
