The military attack on Ukraine by Russia, which took place in recent days, is a tragedy for the Ukrainian nation, but also fills us with great compassion and a desire to help. We cannot remain indifferent to the tragedy that is taking place in our neighbourhood.
Pekabex has launched all possible support channels for peoplein need of this support. We operate in the field of renting accommodation and means of subsistence, especially for the first, most difficult period for people seeking shelter. The Management Board of the Pekabex Group decided to donate PLN 100,000 to those in need.
During the weekend, we put at our disposal: cars from our company fleet, which transport people from across the border, and company apartments, where the first mothers with children have already arrived.
There is a collection of items in all Pekabex branches – clothes, hygiene and food products. Appropriate storage locations have appeared at secretariats or security points in each of our branches.
