The industry in which we operate, brings completely new trends to traditional construction. Through gradual robotization and automation in prefabricated factories: safety increases, product quality improves, investment execution time is shortened and environmental impact is reduced. However, there is one more very important factor mentioned by Robert Jędrzejowski – President of the Management Board of Pekabex S.A., i.e. how the new efficiency translates into staff salaries.
What is the “Efficiency System” implemented in the Company?
It is a system that allows us to monitor in what time and with what efficiency we carry out individual production tasks.
Recently, there has been a lot of talk about this system and its impact on remuneration, why is it so important for Pekabex?
Our strategic goals include, on the one hand, the development of innovative technologies and innovative solutions: speed of processes, safety and environmental friendliness of construction, and, on the other hand, building employee satisfaction and commitment.
To achieve them, we want to pay more for work – the trend is that employees expect an increase in salaries, and we are looking for ways to make it possible. One of them is the improvement of work efficiency, which is why we focus on innovation, optimization and improvement of processes to work smarter and smarter. But beware – not faster, and we don’t mean to extend working hours. Only in a more structured way.
Does this system involve other processes besides our employees?
The system allows us to monitor the execution time of individual elements. Thanks to this, we have quick feedback also for the Sales Department, which elements are in line with the sales assumptions. It already turns out that we price some products too low – and we lose on this, and others too high, which potentially causes us to lose orders. We will now be able to work on this topic even better.
You have proposed a competition for a new name for the “efficiency system”, which we are announcing today.
Yes, currently the “efficiency system” some people call “eSWu”, others “eRCeP”, I sometimes use the term PkxManPower. Therefore, I hope to find a cool name that will come into common use. The winning name will be chosen by our production directors. We are waiting for applications and I am very interested in your suggestions. I wish good luck to all contestants.

Competition for a new name for the “Efficiency System” used in the Pekabex Group.
The name should be concise, easy to remember and pronounce, and original.
Competition works should be sent by e-mail to marketing@pekabex.com by August 14, 2022 (the date of receipt of the message by the Organizer is decisive). Together with the submitted Competition Work, the Participant is obliged to provide his/her name and surname, e-mail address, telephone number, short description and justification of the designed name (“Application”).
The competition starts on July 13, 2022 and ends on August 14, 2022.
The competition announced in July, in which the jury sat the directors of our factories, has just been settled!
We received 53 proposals from 22 authors – participants of the Competition. Thank you very much for all of them, there was a lot to choose from.
At the meeting with stormy deliberations, the name was chosen: „RPP-Rejestracja Procesów Produkcyjnych”. The author of the winning name is Mariusz from Poznań.
